<\/a>his best to defeat us and cause us to fail. He does not want us to know that we can be victorious if we let Jesus rule our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\nYou see, it\u2019s not enough to \u201cbelieve in God\u201d. You must believe that God sent His only Son to die for YOU personally. You must allow Jesus to be Lord of your life. \u2018Lord\u2019 means \u2018master\u2019 or \u2018ruler\u2019. In other words, He has to be the boss of your life. When you accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord your old life is gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.\u201d 2 Corinthians 5:17NLT<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can\u2019t live the way you used to; you need to get into the Word of God and find out how to live, and spend time with Him and listen and get to know His voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is only One God, and only One Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) says this: \u201cIf you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that\u2019s good, but so does the devil. James 2:19 says this: \u201cYou believe that there is one God. Good!
