There are a lot of encouraging scriptures in the Bible. And i’m so glad that there are.

This world and this life are unpredictable to say the very least. It seems like something as simple as a daily routine can be turned on its head with no warning because of the weather or sickness or some other event – or seemingly nothing at all!

I think if you feel like an illness has you beat, then scriptures about healing might feel untrue in that moment. And if you feel like your finances have you beat, then scriptures about God’s provision might feel untrue in that moment. If you’ve been through a something scary or dangerous or chaotic, then you might be feeling very far from the peace of God.

No matter what your perspective is right now. No matter how you’re feeling about the circumstances around you, there’s one thing that is often easier to grasp. That is that whatever you are going through, whatever difficulty you’re facing, whatever circumstance you might feel beaten by, God does not stop being present. Ever.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6

That’s a promise to those who trust in God. To those who have placed their hope in Him. We may face … we WILL face circumstances of this life. But we never have to do it alone. We will face battles, but we are not alone.

The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?

Hebrews 13:6

And sometimes in those moments when the only thing we can grasp is that we aren’t alone, that is when we get to know God better. That is when we begin to understand a little bit about how He is our all in all. We start to understand how He constantly provides for us when we aren’t looking.

22 And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! 25 And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? 26 If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 28 But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! 29 And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. 30 For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. 32 Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.

There is only One God, and only One Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) says this: "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved." Do you know what you believe? Gospel
