  • 15 Therefore consider carefully how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 taking advantage of every opportunity because the days are evil. 17 For this reason do not be foolish, but be wise by understanding what the Lord’s will is. 18 And do not get drunk with wine, which is debauchery, but be filled by the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music in your hearts to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Ephesians 5:15-21

There is only One God, and only One Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) says this: "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved."

Do you know what you believe?

Do you know what you believe? You might say, “Of course! I believe in God!”

And that’s good, but so does the devil. James 2:19 says this: “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that – and shudder.” NIV.

Demons tremble in fear of Almighty God. They know that Jesus defeated them once and for all and that they soon will be cast into the lake of fire. When we are attacked or harassed, we have to realize that the devil is doing his best to defeat us and cause us to fail. He does not want us to know that we can be victorious if we let Jesus rule our lives.

You see, it’s not enough to “believe in God”. You must believe that God sent His only Son to die for YOU personally. You must allow Jesus to be Lord of your life. ‘Lord’ means ‘master’ or ‘ruler’. In other words, He has to be the boss of your life. When you accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord your old life is gone.

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.” 2 Corinthians 5:17NLT

You can’t live the way you used to; you need to get into the Word of God and find out how to live, and spend time with Him and listen and get to know His voice.

There is only One God, and only One Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) says this: “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”
