Come to the Table

Posted on August 9, 2026August 10, 2026 By Beth No Comments on Come to the Table

Come and partake of the blood He has given
Come to the fountain that flowed from His side
Come to the table, partake of His body
Wounded and bleeding with His arms open wide.

Here is forgiveness, cleansing, refreshing
Here you’ll find healing for body and soul
Come to the table, partake of His mercy
Find restoration, be completely made whole.

Come celebrate in the freedom He gives us
Remember His death and His rising again
Come to the table with joy and thanksgiving
Rejoice in the hope that He’s coming again!

Maud Barker

Truly, truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh and drink of the blood of the Son of Man, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the alst day. For My flesh is real food, and My blood is real drink. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your fathers, who ate the manna and died, the one who eats this bread will live forever.

Jesus, in John 6: 53-58 BSB

  • 15 Therefore consider carefully how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 taking advantage of every opportunity because the days are evil. 17 For this reason do not be foolish, but be wise by understanding what the Lord’s will is. 18 And do not get drunk with wine, which is debauchery, but be filled by the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music in your hearts to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Ephesians 5:15-21
